Converting to a combi removes the hot press cylinder and attic tanks, freeing up real space and giving you hot water on demand. We check your incoming mains flow first — if a combi is wrong for your house, we will tell you before you spend anything.


## Common questions

### How long does a combi conversion take?

Typically two to four days. Tanks and the cylinder come out, pipework is reworked, and the system is flushed, filled and commissioned before we leave.

### Is a combi boiler better than a system boiler?

For most two and three bedroom homes with one main bathroom, yes — you free up the hot press and attic and get hot water on demand. If you have several bathrooms used at the same time, a system boiler and cylinder often suits better.

### Will a combi give enough hot water pressure?

That depends on your incoming mains flow rate. We measure it before quoting. If the mains cannot support a combi, we will say so rather than fit one and leave you disappointed.

### What happens to the old hot press and attic tanks?

They are removed and taken away, and the hot press is left clear. Any redundant pipework is capped off properly rather than left hanging.
