- Can you replace an oil boiler with an external one?
- Yes. External condensing oil boilers are common where there is no suitable indoor space. We handle the base, pipework, flue and controls.
- Is there a grant for replacing an oil boiler?
- Not for a like-for-like oil boiler replacement. Grants apply if you switch to a heat pump, or for insulation and heating controls carried out separately.
- How often should an oil boiler be serviced?
- Annually. Oil boilers gather soot and the nozzle and filter need changing, so skipping a year shows up quickly in efficiency and reliability.
